Infected Loser

Yesterday at the park we were testing Ruby at going down slides. She was getting pretty cocky on the little one and had proven she can go up and down the tunnel one so the only one left was the spiral slide. This slide obviously stands pretty tall. I think maybe seven to eight feet tall? The first time we tried to get her to acknowledge that it was there she jumped clear off the top of the slide to the ground.

No more of that!

So, I convinced Jamie (I still don't know how I managed to do it!) to go down the slide because maybe she would follow him down. As you can see above she didn't follow him but merely watched from the top probably wondering what the heck he is doing!

Sometimes when my husband and I are driving down the road and someone riding a motorcycle passes us he says, "I want one." Okay, it probably is not sometimes it is all the time he says that. I just tell him that they are really expensive. The good ones like a Harley Davidson is. Of course you will not catch me on a motorcycle unless for a really really good reason. I am a scaredy cat after all. Anyway, I was looking through random websites and came across a website where you can actually rent a motorcycle to ride and take a nice long drive on it if you want.

My husband's birthday is coming up and I think this would make for a really awesome birthday gift for him. Motorcycle Tours are available at Eaglerider also. You can pick from have a guided tour or an independent tour and even an adventure tour where they take it off road. Pretty neat sounding to me. They not only rent motorcycles though, they also rent TVs, Dirt Bikes, Scooters, Snowmobile, and Watercrafts. There is something for everyone's dreams here. On the website you can look at the different bikes and such that they have available for rent. The list is huge and the pictures of them are gorgeous. So you can rent, take a tour by yourself or with a tour guide, and also buy a motorcycle at Eaglerider. I will have to keep this in mind for Jamie.

Today in the mail was my notice that I had been given $300 for the stimulus payment. Well of course I had a previous balance with the IRS and they took the whole stimulus and placed it towards the balance of my debt. I called up today just to see how much more I owed. I was expecting something near $100 because that is just my luck of course.

After spending about 15 minutes on hold (hey that's pretty good!) they guy came back to tell me my balance. It was $7.92. That's it. That's all. So of course I asked, "That's it?!" because I was expecting a lot more. I asked him about paying with a debit/credit card and he pointed me in the right direction. $1 for a "convenience" fee for paying online and I am now debt free!

I think this is cause for a celebration!
